Highways:
KL is linked by a superb system of highway network, so driving should be no problem. These highways also come with modern food, toilet and fuelling facilities at rest stop and truck stops. As such, driving along the Peninsula's highways are most pleasant although you may, occasionally, come across crawls and slight jams because of accidents.

Accommodation is also least of your problems as most of the connecting towns have at least some basic accommodation, from motels to hotels.

Mobile phone networks also give a good coverge of the highways, in particular, the North South Highway connecting Malaysia with Thailand in the north at Bukit Kayu Hitam and Singapore in the South.
